Álvaro Estrada
Lighting designer
Álvaro Estrada studied Audiovisual and Technical Production in Madrid.
He began his professional freelance career in 1997 as Illuminator and Technical Coordinator in theaters, companies, festivals and with international designers such as Olga García, Felipe Ramos, Bernie Davis and Nicolas Fischtel, among others.
Álvaro is a member of the Association of Lighting Authors (AAI) and currently combines his activity as Technical Coordinator, Illuminator and teacher of “Lighting and Scenography for dance” at the “María de Ávila” Superior Dance Conservatory of Madrid, with his work with companies such as: Sharon Fridmann, Antonio Ruz, Daniel Doña, Manuel Liñán, Estevez y Paños, Rojas y Rodriguez, LASALA and EYAS DANCE PROJECT.
